Please read these terms carefully before using the AkaAwo platform. By signing in, you agree to be bound by the conditions set out below.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the AkaAwo platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform. These Terms apply to all contributors who have been registered by an AkaAwo administrator.
2. Platform Overview
AkaAwo is a savings and contributions platform that enables registered contributors to make daily financial contributions toward a lump-sum payout at the end of the savings cycle. Access to the platform is granted exclusively by an AkaAwo administrator. Self-registration is not available.
3. Contributor Accounts
Your account is created and managed by an AkaAwo administrator. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify your administrator immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
4. Contributions & Payments
Daily contribution amounts are set at the time of account creation. All contributions are tracked and receipted in real time. AkaAwo does not charge fees to join the platform. Contributions made are irrevocable unless expressly approved for withdrawal by an administrator in accordance with the platform's withdrawal policy.
5. Withdrawals
Withdrawal requests are subject to administrator review and approval. AkaAwo reserves the right to decline or defer a withdrawal request in circumstances including but not limited to incomplete contribution cycles, suspected fraud, or system errors. Approved payouts are processed to the bank account registered on your profile.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the platform to engage in fraudulent activity, provide false information, attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or platform systems, reverse-engineer or tamper with the platform, or violate any applicable Nigerian law or regulation.
7. Limitation of Liability
AkaAwo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total value of contributions you have made in the current savings cycle.
8. Modifications
AkaAwo reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes through the platform or via the contact details held on your account.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
